Let me start by saying, I didn’t make it to actually going down into the ocean to scuba but I would do it again. Here’s my story. We met scuba Joe and he was extremely excellent, he was warm and he felt like family immediately. This is someone that you will be trusting with your life so that is important. My boyfriend and I did the morning pool instruction and I had issues with getting my breathing right. I was fairly anxious. Scuba Joe never once got frustrated with me at all despite showing me many different things. He kept working with me and calming me and I never felt rushed despite us running behind schedule because of my anxiety and issues. Scuba Joe missed lunch just because of having to work extra with me. I finally settled and got it. We got to the boat after lunch and I got out in the ocean. I was still very nervous and despite that Joe was still patient and calming. He was willing to do whatever including holding my hand to help me be able to dive. I just couldn’t do it and got back on the boat. My boyfriend however was instructed by Joe as well and did an amazing job in the pool and was able to successfully dive with Joe. He said it was amazing and we were both extremely impressed with Joe and not only his instruction but his patience and demeanor. I am so glad that we picked scuba fun and we got Joe as an instructor. As someone who felt they were not fully prepared to scuba after getting certified at another dive shop a couple months before, Joe did a great job at easing my nerves, refreshing my memory, and giving me new tips as a diver. He really is an easy-going, humorous, and above-all professional diver who can communicate effectively. I hired him as a guide since I did not have anyone else to scuba dive with. He stayed by my side, taught me about different techniques, safety measures, and was very knowledgeable about the marine life we saw. Anyone looking for a good time (especially as a newbie) should come here.

I did a 2-reef dive-tour with scuba fun. The location was recommended to be during a scuba refresher course I did elsewhere in FL.

This was my first ocean/boat dive so I hired a guide (Scuba Joe) who was paired with myself and a mother/daughter duo. Joe helped me get set up with gear at the shop and gave me directions to the dive boat (operated by another company).

I love boats but I get seasick and didn’t take enough Dramamine — if you get sick - take two!! The waters rough!

I did ok getting to the first site. Once we were in the water Joe had a writing slate so he was able to point stuff out and interact with everyone easily. We saw lots of colorful fish and had fun. But I got sick immediately after jumping back onto the boat. Scuba Joe was great. He switched my tank and got me back in the water ASAP. I lasted through most of the second dive but came up early. Sehr kompetentes, nettes und professionelles Team! Sehr schnelle und unkomplizierte Kommunikation auch vorab, trotz Zeitverschiebung. Wir haben zwei Tauch-Ausflüge mit jeweils 2 Tauchgängen gebucht. Einmal Riff und einmal Wrack (Spiegel Grove - sehr zu empfehlen!). Die geliehenen Jackets waren klasse!
