Dive Against Debris

A lot of trash makes its way into the ocean, much of it deadly to marine life. On the third Friday of each month, you can join other divers and our expert instructors on dives with a mission: removing trash from the ocean.

In the morning, you will join us in our classroom to learn the ins and outs of responsible trash removal—we don’t want living creatures to be harmed, including us!

In the afternoon, you will participate in a two-tank dive and remove the trash. After the dives, you will help log the trash on a special App and earn your PADI Dive Against Debris specialty rating.

To participate, you need to have a Junior Open Water Diver certification or higher and be at least 12 years old. You must have excellent buoyancy skills—or you may take the Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty Diver course as a prerequisite.

The cost per person is $215 plus tax, which includes all instruction, two dives with tanks and weights included, and a processing fee. For an additional $50, you may earn the PADI Aware Specialty Diver certification. Both certifications count towards the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.

Space is limited. Enquire today about our next Dive Against Debris trip!
