Everything You Need to Know About Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds
We’re committed to providing personalized, small-group experiences. Because we reserve dedicated time, staff, and boat space for each guest, the following policies help us operate smoothly while remaining fair to everyone.

Quick Overview
General Reservations
- 1–4 guests: Cancel at least 24 hours prior to check-in
- 5–10 guests: Cancel at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to check-in
- 11+ guests: Cancel at least 7 days prior to check-in
- Approved refunds are issued minus a 3.5% administrative fee
- Cancellations within 48 hours incur an additional $25 per person fee
Private Charters, Specialty Trips & Holiday Bookings
(Including private charters, private courses, lobstering, spearfishing, and specialty courses)
Due to the exclusive nature of these bookings, extended notice is required:
- 1–4 guests: 72 hours prior to check-in
- 5–10 guests: 7 days prior to check-in
- 11+ guests: 14 days prior to check-in
Scuba Courses
- Course fees are non-refundable once training has begun
- Full payment is required at booking or check-in
- Late cancellations, no-shows, or withdrawal after starting are non-refundable
Holiday Periods
Holiday cancellation terms apply during:
- Christmas & New Year’s: December 20 through the first Sunday after January 1
- Memorial Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, and Thanksgiving:
From 3 days before through 3 days after the holiday
Cancellation Fees
- Administrative Fee: 3.5% per reservation (applies to all guest-initiated cancellations)
- Late Cancellation Fee: $25 per person for cancellations within 48 hours
- Dive & Snorkel Charters: Late cancellations, late arrivals, or no-shows are non-refundable
Check-In & Arrival
Unless otherwise confirmed in writing, the following check-in times apply:
- Morning dive charters: 7:00 AM
- Afternoon dive charters: 11:45 AM
- Scuba courses: As outlined in your booking confirmation
We ask all guests to arrive on time and ready to begin paperwork, equipment fitting, and safety briefings. Timely arrival ensures the best possible experience for you and your group.
Late Arrival
Guests arriving 20 minutes or more after their confirmed check-in time are considered a no-show. As we operate on tight schedules and small group formats, late arrivals result in forfeiture of the booking without refund or credit.
Rescheduling
- Changes within the cancellation window may be accommodated based on availability and are subject to a $25 per person administrative fee
- If a rescheduled booking is later canceled, the deposit is forfeited
Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances
Your safety is always our top priority:
- If we cancel due to unsafe conditions, certified divers may reschedule at no charge or receive a full refund
- Scuba courses (including Try Scuba / Discover Scuba) will continue from shore when boat diving is not possible
- If a trip is shortened after departure, partial refunds may apply depending on the charter operator
- Courses interrupted due to unforeseen circumstances (such as instructor illness) may be rescheduled or partially refunded for unused portions
When Refunds May Apply
- Cancellations made within the required notice period
- Certified diver trips canceled by us or the charter operator due to weather
- Two-site trips reduced after the first site due to changing conditions
(Partial refunds may apply, typically up to 50%, depending on the operator)
Non-Refundable Situations
To maintain fairness and consistency, refunds are not available for:
- No-shows or late arrivals
- Seasickness or electing not to participate
- Rain or less-than-ideal weather when trips are still operating
- Incomplete eLearning or missing medical clearance
- Illness preventing participation
- Fewer guests arriving than originally booked
- Arrival under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Unused rentals, air fills, gift cards, or certificates
- Students unable to complete training due to skill, comfort, or time constraints
- Technical, CCR, Divemaster, or Instructor-level programs
- Issued eLearning codes
- Training programs unable to be conducted from a boat
Additional Notes
- Students are responsible for payment for all completed training sessions, including pool sessions
- PADI Travel bookings do not include eLearning, which must be purchased separately prior to in-water training

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip from unexpected disruptions such as illness, travel delays, or weather-related changes., or unforeseen emergencies.
