Divers in the Florida Keys have a unique opportunity to explore a string of sunken vessels and artificial reefs, nine of which form the official Florida Keys & Key West Wreck Trek : the Spiegel Grove, Benwood, Duane in Key Largo; the Eagle in Islamorada; the Thunderbolt in Marathon, the Adolphus Busch in the Lower Keys; Joe’s Tug, the Cayman Salvager and the Vandenberg in Key West.

While the wreck dives in Key Largo and dives to the Vandenberg in Key West are offered daily with almost no exception dives to the other wrecks may not be available on all days. Please inquire with us about availability and options during your stay in the Florida Keys.
All these wreck dives except for the Benwood are considered deep dives with an average of 100 feet of dive depth. Divers must be current in diving and advanced level certified or higher with a deep dive logged within the past year. Please refer to our general dive policies. Some dive operators make diving with a guide mandatory on deep dives.
Here is how an itinerary could look like:
Day 1 | Dive on the Spiegel Grove and the Benwood or a reef depending on conditions |
Day 2 | Dive on the Duane and a reef |
Day 3 | Dive on the Eagle and a reef, drive to Key West |
Day 4 | Dive on the Vandenberg |
Day 5 | Dive on the Cayman Salvager or Adolphus Busch, drive to Marathon |
Day 6 | Dive on the Thunderbolt, drive to Key Largo |
