Florida Keys Rebreather Dive Trips

If you are itching to take your rebreather on a spin on our lively, colorful reefs or you are looking to get some serious bottom time in exploring our fantastic shipwrecks in the Florida Keys, we are happy to help organize and book your rebreather dive trip. Daily charter trips are available for individual divers as well as small and larger dive groups.

Dive trips start as low as $100 per diver. Ask us for multiple trips discounts, group rates, or a quote for a private dive boat charter! Dive guides are available upon request. Scuba-Fun also provides you with all your rebreather needs including scrubber and gas fills.

SF2 Rebreather Training

Scuba-Fun offers PADI and TDI rebreather courses from beginner to advanced levels. Please see our course line up below. All our rebreather courses are being taught on the German-engineered, high-quality SF2 Rebreather. It is configured very cleanly and simply. Compared to other rebreathers, the SF2 is compact and well-arranged and it is suitable for extended recreational dives and especially for ambitious technical dives. Units are available for purchase either as a backmount or sidemount rebreather. Please contact us for pricing!

Courses can be scheduled to be taught in the Florida Keys or Central Florida. We will discuss all options with you on an individual basis to determine the best fit for you. Please ask us about availability and the cost of training sessions outside of Florida.

Try it out – Discover Rebreather Diving

For divers who are still unsure whether rebreather diving is for them and those who are in the market looking for the right rebreather unit, we offer a one day Discover Rebreather program. No rebreather dive experience is needed!

We will start the day with an introduction to the SF2 ECCR Rebreather. Your instructor will show you all of its unique features in technical engineering and design and point out differences to other brands’ rebreather units available in the market.

L'après-midi, vous aurez ensuite l'occasion de tester le recycleur SF2 au cours de deux plongées en mer sur des sites de récifs coralliens peu profonds. Contrairement à d'autres programmes qui ne vous offrent qu'une séance en piscine pour essayer le recycleur, notre programme est conçu pour vous offrir une véritable expérience de plongée en mer avec beaucoup de temps pour tester le SF2.

Les participants à ce programme doivent avoir 18 ans ou plus, être certifiés plongeur en eau libre et air enrichi et avoir un minimum de 20 plongées enregistrées, c'est tout !

The Discover Rebreather program is $299 plus tax person. Included in this price is a morning presentation, instructor-guided open water dives on the SF2 unit, all charter fees, materials, and gas.

If you are not certified as an enriched air diver yet you can easily combine a Nitrox/Enriched Air Diver course with the Discover Rebreather program at only $129 plus tax per person additional course fee.

We do encourage you to contact us to discuss your personal requirements since location and length of training, combination or linking of courses, course crossovers, rebreather dive experience, etc. do have an impact on the overall cost of your training.

Students do need their own SF2 Rebreather unit. You can purchase your unit as well as any accessories from us with your rebreather course.
