SF2 Rebreather DiverThe TDI Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) Air Diluent Diver Course is your first step into closed circuit rebreather diving and your first truly quiet dive experience! Without blowing bubbles, your immediate surroundings fall silent, and you will encounter marine life as close as you never have!

Using the latest technology in CCRs can maximize your gas supply and provide an optimum breathing gas for any depth by maintaining a constant partial pressure of oxygen.

During this course, your TDI Instructor will teach you all of the necessary skills to conduct no decompression CCR dives to a maximum depth of 30 metres/100 feet using air diluent.

TDI programs are recognized by a number of CCR manufacturers throughout the world. TDI is also a member of RESA and is actively involved with the development of training standards. ToPaz Aquatic|Scuba-Fun is currently offering this course on the following units: Scubaforce SF2 ECCR Rebreather.

Course Requirements

TDI LogoTo take the TDI Air Dil CCR Rebreather Diver course you must be 18 years old (15-17 years we do require parental consent), have a TDI Nitrox Diver certification, or an equivalent from another dive organization, and have proof of 20 logged open water dives.

The TDI Air Dil CCR Rebreather course is based on students taking the respective TDI online course before the in-water training portion. Training dives typically can be accomplished over up to five days.

Course Fees

The online course is $139.95 per student (2020 rate). When purchasing the online course please make sure to affiliate with Scuba-Fun as your TDI dive store to avoid additional costs. Course tuition for your practical dive training is charged at $400 per training day or $200 for half days. Depending on your training location there will be additional charges for dive charters and/or entrance fees. Please call us to find out what these fees will be for your training. Gas fills will be charged as needed. Please note that there are discounts for combining courses and/or signing up with multiple studentsContact us for details!

Rebreather Purchase

SF2 Rebreather BackmountStudents will have to have their rebreather unit for the course. At times we also have rental units available. The rental fee depends on the unit, please ask us about availability and current rates.
